Norfolk Historic Environment Service would like to introduce our new Historic Environment Assistant! Alex started in his new role last week and has kindly written a bit about himself for our news page.

'Greetings! My name is Alex Miller-Fik I have just started work with the Norfolk Historical Environment Service as a Historic Environment Assistant, my role involves working between the HES planning office and the Historic Environment Record Office. I have a historical background working in the Norfolk Museums and Archeaological Service (NMAS) for nearly 2 years prior to my new role and previous to that I studied for a History degree in Kent for 3 years. I have a keen interest in the historic environment of Norfolk having grown up in the county and spent most of my life here.'
We would all like to welcome him to the service, and hope that he enjoys working with us!
