Abstract:
A day of exploring the metal artefacts recovered this year by the recent Gaywood Valley Archaeological and Historical Project. Finds will be available to handle, with expert guidance on identification. The importance of Roman, Saxon and Viking artefacts, brooches, buckles and coins will be explored. This is a must attend event, for all interested to learn what may be under their garden, or village green!
