Shadwell Estate test pit training day

Today the Norfolk Historic Environment Service’s Community Archaeology team taught members of the Shadwell estate how to dig and record their own test pits. Finds from the test pit included a large number of pottery sherds and a number hobnails. A great time was had by all. read more
