Summary
Many pieces of Roman pot and fragments of iron working slag were found. A piece of post medieval pipkin base and foot was also recovered. The presence of slag suggests this may have been a Roman ironworking site.

Full description
1975. South of Bunn's Bank and extending almost to bank itself; on ploughed surface.
Roman sherds; weathered; include decorated and plain Samian, central and east Gaulish, and coarse wares.
Also iron slag (not seen).
