Summary

This early 19th century circular brick dovecot has two storeys and a conical roof. There is a doorway to the ground floor and a pair of entrances opposite each other and timber nesting boxes on the upper floor. It may have been built by Robert Farrand in 1820. The dovecot was restored in 1990.

Full description

Dovecot.
Early 19th century. Derelict. Circular, brick, roof not visible; covered in ivy, two storeys. Doorway to ground floor, pair of opposed entrances on upper floor. Conical roof. Timber nesting boxes.

24 August 1993. Seen from a distance.
Landowner states this was built by Robert Farrand in 1820. (S3) says that Farrand built the hall 'about 12 years ago'. Now fully restored.
