1972. Stray Find.
Picked up on beach by [1] at approximately [2]:
1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe. Dark brown flint with black patina. Not rolled, but damaged along edge. Possibly from off-shore peat? See sketch (S1). Information from (S2).
First reported in (S3) and described in (S4) as a rolled cordate handaxe, Wymer Type J e/v, 11cm long. Also noted on (S5) and in (S6), (S7) and (S8) although no additonal information is given.
