Full description

February 1939 from sand pit 60cm (2 feet) down 274m (300 yards) southeast of Ingham Church.
(i) swelling base of small jar, soft grey micaceous clay, moulded base, slightly hollow, ?early 2nd century.
(ii) base very soft, grey to brown paste, grey surface outside, buff inside.
