Summary
This is the site of a now demolished building known as Drayton Lodge. Associated outbuildings of probable early 18th-century date survive to the west (NHER 62372) and another demolished building to the rear of the house apparently had the date 1697 on its gable.

1950s.
Building at rear of 'Drayton Lodge' had date 1697 on gable; now demolished

April 1978. Field Observation.
Visit to Lodge Farm.
The 'Drayton Lodge' refered to is not the scheduled ruins (NHER 7854) but a house west of village.
There are still a few outbuildings here called 'Lodge Farm' and a garage (NHER 62372). They could well be 17th century .

Survey of extant outbuildings noted in 1978 suggests they probably date to the early 18th century.
