Full description
Long bank or mound.
Almost due east of site NHER 7762 and adjoining curved track shown on map.
30.5m from gate leading to track.
Mound is 11.8m from east to west and 4.2m diameter.
91cm to 1m high.
Axis 5 degrees off due east.
No ditch. Undug.
Not shown on Ordnance Survey. On (S1) the enclosure in which both NHER 7762 and NHER 7763 are situated is shown as plantation, but the trees have been cut down and the land is being replanted.

A possible earthwork of a Neolithic long barrow was recorded approximately 50m to the south west, at TG 1533 1757, as NHER 52401. This may or may not be the same barrow described above.
