Summary

The ruined church of Mannington stands in the grounds of the Hall (NHER 6690). The church has no roof but the rectangular chancel and nave survive. The earliest parts of the church may date to around 1100. It was remodelled in 1350 and much of the structure was rebuilt in the 19th century. Unusually there are many 14th to 15th century architectural fragments standing in the churchyard.
