Pieces of World War Two aircraft have been found at this site. These have not been clearly identified but may be the remains of a Ventura AE759 that crashed on 10 December 1942 or a Ventura AE680 that crashed on 2 March 1943, from Methwold Airfield (NHER 4937).

Pieces of World War Two aircraft have been found at this site. These have not been clearly identified but may be the remains of a Ventura AE759 that crashed on 10 December 1942 or a Venture AE680 that crashed on 2 March 1943.
