Moat shown on (S1) as lacking south side, projection from east side draining to north.

Artichoke plantation found on island.

This is the site of East Hall manor, see (S2), which notes that this was one of seven medieval manors recorded in Barton Bendish. East Hall was held by the Lovel family during the 16th century.
