Full description

March 2004. Norfolk NMP
Cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch of possible Bronze Age date is visible on aerial photographs (S1). The ring ditch has a 13m diameter and a possible opening on its northwest side, which does not appear to be caused by differing geology. Several larger ring ditches of Bronze Age round barrows are present in the immediate vicinity (NHER 38542, 8221 and 38543) and it is possible that this ring ditch is also of a round barrow. See also related cropmarks (NHER 38574, 38542, 38543 and 8221).
J. Albone (NMP), 26 March 2004
