1953. Stray Find.
From side of dyke on Bulls Lane.
Neolithic polished flint axehead, ochreous flint. See outline sketch (S1).
This discovered was noted in local press article (S2) and the axehead itself was subsequently donated to the King's Lynn Museum (not immediately identifiable in the museum's records but probably KILLM : 1992.594 - an untraced object of similar dimensions labelled as having been found at Fincham in 1953).
