Full description
25 June 1996. NLA aerial photography.
Cropmarks of two ring ditches are visible.
One is located at NGR TM 1766 9824; this is the larger and clearer of the two. The second one is to the north of the first at NGR TM 1766 9848. It is smaller and not so clear as the first one; however, although it is quite faint it has the definite appearance of a ring ditch.
As well as these, several cropmarks of linear features are visible. The origin of these is unceratin, but it is possible that they are just old field boundaries.
One of these linears coincides with the line of the parish boundary.
H. Clare (NLA), 24 August 2001.
