May-June 1999. Metal detecting.
H. M. Geake (A&E) identified:
Fragment of Late Bronze Age socketed axe.
The loop survives with a casting flash running down it, set below a fragment of moulding which seems to form the mouth. Perhaps a stray from NHER 24343.
