Full description

November 1976. Visit. Hydraulic ram.
This appears to be marked by Ordnance Survey at above grid reference and presumably served the lake, but if it was here it is now gone, according to owner. The only one he knows of is in a shed at 7321 1903 and is fairly modern, apart from perhaps the flywheel, being really a small motor pump.
E. Rose (NAU), 11 November 1976.

In fact the original pump at this location was a Godwin ram which is now in the museum at Hillington run by [1]; he installed the above described pump, a modern Godwin, to replace it!
E. Rose (NLA), 12 August 1994.
