October 1992. Visit.
Suggests a hollow way and more extensive earthworks than shown on map. However, the photographs suggest to E. Rose (NLA) simply drainage patterns.
See comment under NHER 12154.
Site report (S1) in file.

July 1994. Fieldwalking find, central to area.
Sherd of unglazed red/grey ware, sagging base.
Identified by D. Gurney (NLA).

1995. Sub rectangular enclosures have been sketch plotted onto 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map (S2) from Ordnance Survey air photographs.
Some ground verification of form. Banked enclosure south of church has irregularities with no discernible pattern, but is a potential settlement area. Enclosure west of cottages to south looks like earlier toft. Drainage features in fields to north and south have been added to plan (S2) in file.
