Summary

This AA telephone box was installed before the 1950s and is the oldest one in Norfolk. It has an upright 'sentry box' pattern with a gable above each face and a door to the south. The box contains a telephone and shelving. It is painted black and yellow.

Full description

Automobile Association Box, Brancaster Staithe.
Situated on former road now layby. Oldest box in East Anglia.
Upright 'sentry box' pattern with gable above each face, door to south; contains telephone and shelving. Dates from before 1950s and is one of the few of the pattern remaining. Painted black and yellow.
