Metal-detecting between 1997 and 2019 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton and post-medieval token and undated, Bronze Age, Roman, Early Saxon and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated lead weight; a Bronze Age rapier; Roman brooches, a pin and furniture fitting; an Early Saxon gold bracteate and bead; a Late Saxon vessel foot; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories and a scabbard chape; medieval harness mounts, a brooch, harness hook, ferrule and book fitting; a post-medieval book clasp fragment, harness mount and fork fragment and late post-medieval/modern ammunition.
