14 May 1997. Site visit to inspect earthwork (?Iron Age) reported by source.
Substantial terrace cut into hillside - name 'The Terrace' on Ordnance Survey - most probably a garden feature. The former rectory was just to the west, and a chalk-lined well still survives.
