Full description
Site of brickworks marked on (S1), information from (S2).
Current mapping shows two large pits on site, nothing shown on (S3) except 'land liable to flood'.

Informant reported that in the 1950s he and other children used to play in 'underground brick tunnels beneath the golf course', a feature presumably associated with this site.

Two large extractive pits are visible on the aerial photographs (S4) and these are likely to relate to the former brickworks at this location.
