Full description
August 1994. Fieldwalking.
Flaked axe/adze.
152mm x 54 x 31 of unusually pronounced plano convex section.
Grey to grey/brown flint with small coarse grained inclusions.
Flaked over whole of the curved face, steeply at the lateral edges; the more planor face has shallow invasive flaking with an area of natural cleavage towards one end.
There are signs of useage/wear on the planor face at both ends.
Neolithic, probably Late Neolithic.
