Metal-detecting between 1990 to 2014 recovered Iron Age, Roman and medieval coins and Iron Age, Roman and Late Saxon to medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an Iron Age harness fitting; Roman brooches, a ring, hairpin, pestle and a pair of tweezers; a Late Saxon stirrup strap mount and a medieval harness pendant.

Full description

April 1990. Metal detecting find.
Complete bronze terret. Knobs flanked by mouldings. Type I? (S1).

September 1990. Metal Detecting finds.
?Dolphin variant brooch, hinged; tinned or silvered. Very fine condition; slight damage to centre of bow as it bent and later straightened. Pin and catchplate missing; moulded wings, flat behind; deeply grooved bow. Moulding at junction of bow and leg; foot knob. Mid to late 1st century, (S2).
