Full description

Pre 1957. Stray Find.
Found at Middle Drove Farm (a farm at TF 5940 0090):
Bronze Age copper alloy palstave.
Donated to King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1994.344).
Information from (S1).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 14 February 2019.

Although the provenance of this object was previously regarded as uncertain it is recorded by the King's Lynn Museum as having been found in a "...field north of Middle Drove Farmhouse with a pumping station in opposite corner". This description, coupled with the approximate grid reference listed (TF 592 015) suggests it was almost certainly found in the field to the south-east of NHER 16334. It has therefore now been mapped at this location.
P. Watkins (HES), 14 February 2019.
