Summary
Fieldwalking and observation in a water pipe trench recovered Roman pottery, tile, coins, painted wall plaster and two post holes, and as a result it is thought that this is the site of a Roman period building. Later metal detecting found Roman coins, a large Roman copper alloy coin weight and a possible Roman lead bust.
