1988. Found with metal detector by [1].
Antoninianus Trebonianus Gallus VERITAS AVG 251 to 253.
Small bronze head, apparently NOT off statuette, with no means of attachment or suspension (photographed).
Head identified as Roman by [2]; [3] says stylistically late Iron Age or early Roman, compare heads from Welwyn and ridged balls from Hayling Island.
Function votive or for divination.
