Full description

Spring 1986. Parkland (now ploughed ?) beside post medieval pond (and separated by latter from coin site NHER 23300). Found in fieldwalking.
Scatter of pottery and oyster shells. Only four sherds collected as 'samples of four main types of coarseware present'.
1 sherd reddish, reduced black surface, plain rim with one groove.
1 sandy light orange fabric with inturned rim.
1 reddish very coarse.
1 greyish black ridged inside.
Also 1 fragment metal slag.
