Record Details

NHER Number:22664
Type of record:Monument
Name:Possible Late Saxon to medieval settlement

Fieldwalking recovered fragments of Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery. A very restricted range of medieval pottery dating to the late 12th and 13th century was recorded. The concentration of Late Saxon and medieval finds suggests this may have been a Late Saxon to medieval settlement.
