Summary

In April 1986 part of Late Bronze Age socketed axehead was discovered on a school playing field. However, as the surface of the playing field was made up with imported soil from Norwich, the axehead was not found in its original location.

April 1986. Metal detecting on from school playing field.
Note however that the surface of the playing field was made up with imported soil from Norwich.
