This is the possible site of a Roman building, suggested by Roman bricks, coins, and brooches found on this site by fieldwalking and metal detecting. Medieval and post medieval coins have also been found.

Full description

March 1986. Found in fieldwalking.
Context 2 at above grid reference.
Patch of red brick (noted because of proximity of Roman sites).

General scatter over area 300m north to south x 150m east to west.
Roman copper alloy rear hook brooch.

Rectangular gilded copper alloy attachment plate for harness pendant, one lug remaining and four rivets.
