Full description
This is the site of a wind mill, known as Great Bittering or Gressenhall Fairstead Mill but several times wrongly sold as 'Beetley'. It was for sale in 1837 as smock mill with fantail cap etc. Records of the mill continue to about 1890.
The Mill House survived until about 1970.
