Full description
Little Barwick (Ordnance Survey).
R. R. Clarke (NCM) marked as '?village site'. (other information formerly on this card as to the church, from (S2), was a mistake for Great Barwick, see NHER1925). G. Becket in (S1) states name Little Barwick does not occur until 1681, but this is site of the lost settlement of Middleton, recorded from 1294 onwards. It never had a church and vanished in late 14th/ early 15th century.
