This is the site of a Late Saxon settlement, and Late Saxon pottery has been found by fieldwalking. Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the late prehistoric to the post medieval period have been found by fieldwalking.

25 February 1983. Fieldwalking, poor to medium. Field divided into 8 contexts.
Sherds of various periods.
