Summary
Metal detecting recovered a gold Iron Age coin, a piece of Iron Age horse harness, two Roman coins and a piece of Roman iron chain mail. The finds were made from close to the Roman enclosure NHER 8712. The Roman coins may be part of a hoard.

Full description
Winter 1979 to 1980. Found with metal detector in ploughsoil. At location [1].
Two siliquae of Julian, both in very fresh condition. Reverses clearly legible but not read. Found within a couple of feet of each other, so possibly part of dispersed hoard.
