Fragments of Roman and post medieval pottery were found on the surface of a ploughed field in 1980. Metal detecting in 2007- 2009 recovered medieval and post medieval coins, buckles, and a crotal bell.

February 1980. Surface of ploughed field.
Two Roman coarse greyware sherds, including one rim, in scatter of post medieval sherds.
