Summary
This flint and reused stone barn has brick slit windows and large cart doors blocked to the east to form a modern entrance. The roof has two tiers of queen posts rising from tie beams on arched braces. The barn may date to the late 16th or early 17th century. The west cart door is now blocked by a garden wall.

16 November 1979. Visit. Tithe Barn.
Flint and reused stone with brick slit windows, large cart doors blocked on east to form modern entrance. Excellent roof with two tiers of queen posts rising from tie beams on arched braces. Date is uncertain. Presumably postdates the rectory
(Old Hall) of 1525. When did this become the rectory? Perhaps late 16th/early 17th century. Note west cart door is now blocked by garden wall.
