?1979. Stray Find.
Found on sand, on high-water mark north of Horsey Gap by [1], at approximately [2]:
1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe. Cordate, straight-edged, middle/late Acheulian. In dark brown-dark grey mottled flint. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1981.422). See drawing (S1).
Information from (S2).
Described in (S3) as a beach-rolled thick ovate, Wymer Type K e/v, 11cm long. Also noted on (S4) and in (S5), (S6) and (S7), although no additional information is given.
