Summary

A mid 17th century timber framed house, with a thatched roof, and later alterations. Medieval and post medieval pottery has been found in the garden of the house, and the house probably stands on the site of a medieval house.

Full description

Exterior and roof all of 1940s, but inside some studding and fireplace (seen through window) suggest a 16th/17th century date.

The renewed and exposed timbering of 1940s on exterior of walls has now been rendered over to present a more typical appearance.
