'Headless Cross' mentioned in a lease of 1542.
See (S1).
(S1) also quotes a document of 1609 saying that this cross divided Horsey from Winterton and Waxham.
This is very odd, even if it does mean Waxham Parva, as this was in the opposite direction! Perhaps a detached portion of the parish?
