Full description
Moated site, still there after wood felled. Said locally to be manor site. Brick and tiles on surface. See [1].
1 brick seen by E. Rose (NAU), late medieval.
2012. Stray surface find.
2 fragments of post-medieval ceramic roof tile.
The tithe map shows a small rectangular or square moated enclosure measuring about 22m east to west internally. The northern arm is complete as it returns at both ends. The eastern arm may be complete but there is no return at its southern end. The western arm is shorter than the eastern arm and there is a gap almost half way along its length. There is no southern arm.
