Summary
During the building of Loddon bypass two holes filled with filled with black burnt soil and cremations were found. Close to these cremations worked flint flakes and possible Neolithic pottery were also found.

June 1973. Field Observation.
Found on Loddon bypass:
Two small holes filled with black burnt soil with cremations. Subsoil next to cremations, above sand natural yielded sherds of prehistoric (may be Neolithic) pot with several flint flakes.
