Summary
This moated site is marked by the Ordnance Survey as the site of St Michael's Chapel. However, the chapel was probably on the adjacent hill making this a domestic site. In 1988, flint building materials were found here and in 1997 a number of building platforms and drainage ditches were noted. Sherds of Roman, Late Saxon and medieval pottery have also been recovered from this area.
