Full description
1955. Around 244m (800ft) west of Shropham Hall by roadside, found during excavation of trench for water pipe - 90cm (3ft) down (trench was 1.2m (4ft) deep).
Three sherds of Roman pottery (two grey and one brown).
Part of old road surface with flints along side of trench at 61cm (2ft). Held by NCM.
