Full description

March 21 1972. Three gold coins found after bonfire in orchard by Station Farm. Obverse: FELFRED REX SAX. Reverse: AELFR

Identified by by M. Archibald (British Museum) as forgeries (correspondence), Henry III or after. Site previously used by scrap metal/car dealer for fifteen years, but farmed before that.
Present owner now clearing the area to farm it.
