Summary

A medieval parish church mainly built in the Decorated and Perpendicular styles. The church has an excellent example of a 15th century hammerbeam roof with carved angels. The painted rood screen from the 16th century is a very late example for Norfolk.

Full description

September 1962. Listed, Grade I.
Norman hoodmould reset over Perpendicular porch.
Mainly Decorated and Perpendicualar architectural features.
Hammerbeam roof with carved corbels and angels, dating from the 15th century.
Painted rood screen, dated 1536, and heavily defaced.
Octagonal 14th or 15th century font.
Various memorials from 16th to 19th century.
