Summary

A hole dug here by workmen in 1990 disturbed human burials. Subsequent archaeological observations noted a lack of articulated skeletons but also reported flint and mortar building remains. No date was assigned to the building remnants and human bones.

Full description

15 April 1990. Watching brief.
1m by 2.5m hole dug by workmen had disturbed human burials.
No articulated skeletons visible. Depth of approximately 1.1m.
Also flint and mortar noted in north and south section, appeared faced, in southwest corner cut by red brick work.
