Full description

1959. Stray Find.
1 prehistoric broken chipped flint pick. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1959.317). Information from (S1).
Although originally recorded as Neolithic (and listed as such in the museum's records) this object was subsequently re-identified by R. Jacobi as the butt end of a Mesolithic tranchet adze. See description in (S2).
