Summary
This medieval road is marked on maps in 1585 and 1906. The exact line is hard to judge but the road ran from Norwich through Sprowston to Rackheath. No trace of this road is visible on aerial photographs or at ground level.

Full description
Medieval road.
Detailed on 1585 map of Mousehold Heath (copies NCM, NRO, and in (S1)) - and also on (S2) according to member of the public [1] (not checked - E. Rose (NAU)).
Begins in Norwich, and marked by R.R. Clarke (NCM) at 2479 1039. Enters Sprowston parish (Broadland district) at 2478 1048 (TG 21 SW/42) and continues until course merges with modern (post enclosure) road at around 2780 1195 (Rackheath parish). For detailed course see map.
No trace on ground or on aerial photgraphs despite careful search - R. R. Clarke (NCM).
Eastern section as marked by R.R. Clarke (NCM) corrected by E. Rose (NAU) from comparison with original, and other features marked thereon.
