1950. 274m (300 yards) west southwest of Horstead House.
Late Saxon sherds.
R.R. Clarke (NCM).

Also Roman coarse ware.

Roman sherds and iron slag.
R.R. Clarke (NCM).

In box left behind by C.J.S. Green (NCM) from this site were six Roman sherds including storage jar, and two glazed medieval sherds.
